Abhilfe kann teilweise dadurch geschaffen werden, daß die Wandstärke der Schalen erhöht oder ein spezieller Kunststoff gewählt wird, durch den gewährleistet ist, daß eine gute Verbindung auch in den Randpartien sichergestellt ist. Dies führt jedoch zwangsläufig entweder zu einer robusteren Bauweise oder kostenintensiver Herstellung des Schmucktabletts, was unerwünscht ist.
