Die Erfindung betrifft einen Stützring zum Stützen einer Herzklappenprothese zum Ersatz der Aortenklappe oder der Pulmonalklappe aus Kunststoff oder Metall in der Form von zwei im wesentlichen in gleichbleibendem Abstand zueinander verlaufenden Ringen, die durch Streben miteinander verbunden sind.The invention relates to a support ring for supporting a heart valve prosthesis for replacing the aortic valve or the pulmonary valve made of plastic or metal in the form of two rings which are essentially at a constant distance from one another and are connected to one another by struts.

Aufgabe der Erfindung war es daher, den vorbekannten Stützring derart weiterzubilden, daß er optimal an die Verhältnisse des menschlichen Körpers angepaßt ist und sich besser dazu eignet, biologische Herzklappenpräparate zu implantieren.The object of the invention was therefore to further develop the previously known support ring in such a way that it is optimally adapted to the conditions of the human body and is better suited to implanting biological heart valve preparations.

In beiden Figuren ist deutlich zu erkennen, daß der Ring 12 einen etwas größeren Durchmesser als der parallelverlaufende Ring 10 besitzt, und daß drei Streben 14 die Ringe 10 und 12 verbinden.In both figures it can be clearly seen that the ring 12 has a slightly larger diameter than the parallel ring 10 and that three struts 14 connect the rings 10 and 12.

Damit werden Probleme beim Schweißen vermieden.
