Description

Folding book (book) for reproducing texts, drawings, pictures.

For the presentation of texts, drawings, images in standard books, brochures, booklets, a large number of pages are printed separately, the individual pages are bound, stapled, glued, etc. in various processes to make books, brochures, booklets.

The task of the folding book is

(a) to considerably simplify the production of books, brochures and booklets,

b) to enable variable juxtaposition of different and multiple pages in order to open up optically enhanced recording options (especially in textbooks),

c) To use texts, images, drawings, etc. beyond the use of a single page of the book and to obtain a so-called "freeze frame" (achieved by gently opening the folding book) for the permanent, visible recording of one or more pages.

The advantages of this folding book are

Unlike conventional books, the folding book does not consist of pages joined together, but rather of one piece (paper or similar material). If the book is large, several such pieces can be put together. This means that only one side (front or back) needs to be printed.

The special folding creates the single sides. The folding is done from the right side and is continuously _folded towards the left so that the strings fold into each other .

It is important that the page width is increased after folding and that the minimum is in the ratio: number of folds per paper width. This value can also be increased slightly. This ensures smooth use.

The last page of the fold to the left is the page n of the folding book and therefore also the cover page. It therefore has the greatest width.

The folding book is opened (read) to the right, and the read pages can be folded in any way: only from the last right-hand page should you fold it from right to left when reading again (as described above). This makes it easier to handle and you end up with the book folded correctly.

The minimum number of pages is six. There is no upper limit to the number of pages, but depending on the material used, reasonable handling sets limits to high page numbers.

Formats and platerial properties can be selected according to requirements.
