Die Schwächungslinie bringt gegenüber dem Längsschnitt den Vorteil, daß der nach dem Aufreißen entlang der Schwächungslinie gebildete Verschlußstreifen zunächst am Beutel verbleibt und nicht frei beweglich ist. Dadurch wird ein Verschlußstreifen 18 zum Verschließen des Verpackungsbeutels 10 nach dem Füllen gebildet. Aus Gründen der vereinfachten Darstellung sind in den Figuren 2-4 die Seitenverschlußnaht 16 sowie die Bodennaht 13 nicht gezeichnet.
