This task is solved according to the innovation in that the holding device has a total of three receiving caps, of which one has a larger diameter than the other two and the two smaller receiving caps are arranged offset both laterally outwards and in height relative to the larger receiving cap.

The smaller mounting caps are offset upwards in relation to the fastening level of the holding device on a slatted frame, which means that the spring slats inserted into these smaller mounting caps form the upper limiting level of a correspondingly constructed slatted frame and are the first of the spring slats to be loaded in the event of a load.

The middle, wider spring wood strip, which is held by the larger support cap, is only subjected to additional load in the event of a heavier load.

A slatted frame that is equipped with such holding devices and correspondingly different widths of spring wood slats offers a considerably more sensitive and versatile influence on the suspension behavior than is possible with known designs.

According to a further idea of the innovation, it is intended that the longitudinal extension of the smaller receiving caps is a several times the longitudinal extension of the larger receiving cap.

This has the advantage that even the smaller spring wood slats, which in case of heavy load

are bent accordingly, even in this strong deflection case they cannot be pulled out of the smaller assumption ka &rgr;&rgr;&ogr;&eegr;.

A further improvement in suspension comfort is made possible if elastically deformable sections are provided which are connected to the larger receiving cap at the level of the larger receiving cap by molded-on crossbars.

An example of the innovation is shown in the attached drawings and is described in more detail below.

As can be clearly seen from Figures 2 and 3, the spring wood strips 13 and 14 are supported by receiving caps 15 and 16 of the holding devices 12.

The holding devices 12 are each made in one piece from an elastic material, preferably plastic.

In particular, Figure 3 shows that each holding device 12 has three of the said receiving caps 15 and 16. The receiving cap provided with the reference number 16 is equipped with a greater width than the two receiving caps provided with the reference number 15.

A holding device made from a single piece of elastic material and which can be fixed to a slatted frame with a plurality of receiving caps for fed and unloaded slats, the holding device (12) having a total of three receiving caps (15, 16), one of which (16) has a greater width than the other two (15) and the two smaller receiving caps (15) are arranged offset from the larger receiving cap (If) both laterally outwards and in height. 2.
