The present innovation relates to a rotating floor assembly for cupboards, in particular corner cupboards, comprising a support column, at least two support column holders for securing the entire rotating floor frame to a cupboard body, and two or more turnstiles supported on the support columns and pivotable about the support column with rotating floors attached thereto.

Rotating floor frames of the aforementioned type are known in many different designs.

The design of the turnstiles in the storage area, i.e. in the connection area to the support column, is still satisfactory.

The aim of the present innovation is to demonstrate a rotating floor frame of the generic type, which is characterized by a particularly favorable design of the storage area of the turnstiles in terms of both manufacturing technology and application technology.

This task is solved according to the innovation in that each turnstile in the Laerbarelch has a square tube to which several support arms are connected on the outside and in that tube bearing bushes are inserted into the front ends of the square tube, the inner diameter of which corresponds to the outer diameter.

A rotating floor frame designed in this way has the advantage that the connection of the support arms to the storage area of the entire turnstile is easy to carry out both in terms of production and load. The connection of the support arms to the square tube can be carried out equally well by welding or by screwing. The support arms of the turnstile extend perpendicular to the connection surfaces on the square tube and thus assume a precisely defined position.

Due to the comparatively large connection surfaces provided by the square tube, such a turnstile can also bear high loads.

Rotating shelves of any design can be placed on the support arms.

A further development of the innovation consists in the fact that at least the lower pipe bearing bushes supported on the support column holders have a downwardly projecting locking hook which, in the basic position of the respective turnstile, positively engages in a locking groove of the adjacent support column holder.

This ensures that in the basic position, i.e. in the assembled state with the cabinet closed, the respective turnstiles are fixed in the axial direction of the support column, so that displacement of the turnstiles during transport of such a barrier is excluded.

Advantageously, the support column holders are designed symmetrically around a central plane that runs perpendicular to the support column axis. This makes it easy to ensure that the support column holders can be attached on both the left and right, and that two different designs are not required.

Further features of the innovation are the subject of further subclaims.

In Figs. 1 and 2, a rotating floor frame 1 is shown, which essentially consists of a support column 2, at least two support column brackets 3 for securing the entire rotating floor frame 1 to a cabinet body and two or more rotating elements supported on the support column brackets 3 and pivotable about the support column 2.

As is particularly clear from Fig. 1, the turnstiles li are equipped with a square tube 6 in the bearing area. Fig. 3 shows such a bearing area in section and shows that tube bearing bushes 7 are inserted into the front of such a square tube 6, the inner diameter of which corresponds to the outer diameter of the support column 2. This construction results in a perfect pivot bearing for each turnstile on the one hand

4 and on the other hand, the square tube 6 offers the advantage that various support arms 8 for supporting the rotating floors

5 can be securely and highly resiliently connected to the outer surfaces of the square tube 6, for example by welding, screwing or similar. The support arms 8 assume a precisely defined position according to the angular position of the outer surfaces of the square tube 6 to one another.

Fig. 3 clearly shows that the square tube 6 is provided with openings 9 in the area of a side wall, into which locking cams 10 of the pipe bearing bushes 7 engage. This ensures a positive locking of the pipe bearing bushes 7 relative to the square tube 6 in the simplest way.

Fig. 3 also makes it particularly clear that the lower pipe bearing bush 7 is provided with a downwardly projecting locking hook 11, which engages in a locking groove 12 of the support column holder 3 when the turnstile 4 is in

its basic position is pivoted. In this position, an axial movement between the square tube 6 and the support column holder 3 is therefore not possible. This is particularly advantageous if a rotating base frame 1 is mounted in a cabinet and transported together with it, since in this case the turnstiles 4 cannot move unintentionally even in the event of vibrations.

The support column holders 3 are designed symmetrically around a central plane running perpendicular to the support column axis and can therefore be easily attached on the left or right.

Fig. 4 and 5 make it clear that in a rotating floor frame 1 the lower turnstile 4 is expediently coupled to a door 13 of a cabinet 14. For this purpose a driver 15 is provided which can be fixed to the said door 13 and is equipped with a sliding piece 16 which surrounds a leg 17 of the support arm 8, which is advantageously designed as a U-profile. When the door 13 is opened, the lower turnstile 4 with the rotating floor resting on it is inevitably moved partially out of the interior of the cabinet.

Fig. 6 shows that not only closed rotating floors 5, as shown in Fig. 2, can be placed on the turnstiles 4, but also basket-shaped rotating floors 5a.

The fixing of these basket-like rotating floors 5a is advantageously carried out by clamping pieces 18, which on the one hand are connected to the

Support arms 8 are connected and on the other hand are provided with locking grooves 19 into which corresponding wires of the basket-like rotating floors 5a can be snapped or clipped. ■§■

a retaining web 20 which, after insertion of the clamping pieces 19 into the openings provided for this purpose in the support arms 8 and rotation through 90° relative to the respective support arm 8, ensures secure fixing of the clamping pieces 18 on the ^support arm 8.

When using closed rotating floors 5, these can, as shown in Fig. 8 and 9, consist of two rotating floor halves 5b which are placed on a turnstile 4. These rotating floor halves 5b are provided with semicircular recesses 20a in the connection area to the respective square tube 6 and the reveal area of these semicircular recesses 20a up to the square tube 6 is covered in a form-fitting manner by cover caps 21.

In Fig. 10 a one-piece, closed rotating base is shown which is provided with a slot 22 in the area adjacent to the square tube 6. This slot is larger than the diagonal dimension of the square tube 6, so that the one-piece rotating base 5 can be easily pushed onto the turnstile. The surrounding area between the slot 22 and the square tube 6 is also covered in a visually appealing way by appropriately designed cover caps 21. ^;

As shown in Fig. 2, the bases 5 can also be provided with a border made of attached profiles 23.

Claims (1)

1. Revolving floor frame for cupboards, in particular corner cupboards, comprising a support column, at least two support column supports for securing the entire revolving floor frame to a cabinet body and two or more turnstiles supported on the support column supports and pivotable about the support column with revolving floors attached thereto, characterized in that each turnstile (4) has a square tube (6) in the storage area, to which several support arms (8) are connected on the outside and that tube bearing bushes (7) are inserted into the front ends of the square tube (6), the inside diameter of which corresponds to the outside diameter of the support column (2). 2. Rotating floor frame according to claim 1, characterized in that at least the respective lower pipe bearing bushes (7) supported on the support column holders 83) have a downwardly projecting locking hook (11) which, in the basic position of the respective turnstile (A), positively engages in a locking groove (12) of the adjacent support column holder (3). 3. Rotating floor frame according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the support column holders (3) are designed symmetrically about a central plane running perpendicular to the support column axis. · &igr;&igr;·&igr;· · ■ &igr; I Heinze - 2 - 4. Rotating floor frame according to claim 6, characterized in that the rotating floors (5a) are designed in the manner of wire baskets and are snapped into a locking groove (19) of the clamping pieces (18) by one of the wires each. 8.
