Der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Bruchband, welches so eingerichtet ist, dafs es jeder Bewegung des Körpers nachgiebt, so dafs dem Tragenden keine Beschwerden erwachsen.The subject of the present invention is a truss which is set up so that it yields to every movement of the body, so that there is no discomfort to the wearer adult.

Dieses Bruchband besteht aus einer Metallplatteα, welche mit einer Vertiefung b versehen ist; in letzterer ist die Feder c um ein Gelenk d drehbar angeordnet. Diese Feder ist in ihrer Mitte mit dem Ausschnitt e (Fig. 1) versehen, und am oberen Theil der Feder ist die Rolle f durch den Stift g und die Ansätze h leicht drehbar festgelegt. Die Platte a besitzt aufserdem noch die Aussparungen i i¹. In der Aussparung i¹ ist durch den Stift k die Rolle 7 drehbar gelagert. Soll das Bruchband so eingerichtet werden, dafs es abwechselnd an beiden Seiten benutzt werden kann, so befestigt man aufserdem noch in dem Ausschnitt i an dem Stift m eine Rolle.This truss consists of a metal plate α, which is provided with a recess b ; in the latter, the spring c is arranged to be rotatable about a hinge d. An der einen Seite der Platte α ist durch Schrauben η ein entsprechend geformtes Stück 0 (Fig. 2) aus Leder oder dergl. befestigt, welches dem Polster die für den Bruch geeignete Richtung giebt und an welches sich das Gummistück ρ anschliefst; letzteres steht wiederum mit dem Befestigungsband q in Verbindung. Dieses Befestigungsband kann an der Innenfläche mit Polsterung versehen sein, um dem dasselbe Tragenden keine Beschwerden zu verursachen, und trägt an seinem anderen Ende den Riemen r, welcher die Löcher s besitzt; durch letztere und den Knopf t wird das Bruchband geschlossen. Durch den Stift u wird die Drahtschnur ν befestigt, welche sich dann entsprechend über die Rollen f und / legt (Fig. 1) und durch die in dem Theil 0 befindliche Oeffhung w nach aufsen tritt. Mit dem Ende der Drahtschnur ν steht der aus einem festen Material, z. B. Leder, hergestellte Streifen χ in Verbindung, welcher durch den Mechanismus j*- beliebig lang und kurz gestellt werden kann. Das Bruchband selbst mufs aus federndem (elastischem) Stoff hergestellt- und mit zweckentsprechender Polsterung versehen sein. Hierdurch soll nach Ansicht des Erfinders der durch diese Erweiterung entstehende Druck des Polsters gegen den Körper sofort derart ausgeglichen werden, dafs dieser Druck unverändert bleibt. Bei einer den Körper verengenden Bewegung des Tragenden wird umgekehrt die Feder aufwärts drücken, wobei mit Hülfe des Gummistückes ρ ebenfalls der Druck ausgeglichen werden soll.
