Durch die Verbindung einer solchen Folie mit Kreppapier wird die Dehnfähigkeit der Folie selbst nicht beeinträchtigt, hingegen wird durch das Papier die Gefahr des Kanteneinreißens und des Durchdrückens der verhältnismäßig leicht verletzbaren Folie praktisch beseitigt. Mit besonderem Vorteil kann zur Verbindung der Folie mit dem Papier ein nicht oder nur langsam eihärtender Kaltkleber verwendet werden, der ein gegenseitiges Gleiten der beiden Teile gegeneinander wenigstens während der Verarbeitung erlaubt.
