It is possible/ for example on a 25-ton truck loaded with palletized paving stones for 130 to 135 square meters/ to also accommodate the required number of spacers on the truck, since there is necessarily enough loading space between the stone packages anyway. The shape (T-profile) makes the laying work much easier and simpler. Furthermore, the spacers according to the invention give the planting material optimal space for root formation and also prevent the paving stones from shifting when they are shaken down.

The spacer 1 for paving stones 2 shown in Fig. 1 (Fig. 2) is a T-shaped hollow profile that is open at both ends, i.e. at the top and bottom in the laying position, with three hollow chambers 3, 4, of which the middle hollow chamber 4 is larger than the two outer hollow chambers 3 and forms the web of the T-shaped hollow profile, which is injection-molded from plastic. The outer hollow chambers 3 form the flanges of the T-shaped hollow profile, with the flanges and the web having the same width B, which corresponds to the joint width of the laid paving stones 2.
