The invention relates to a pallet, in particular a flat pallet, consisting of a flat pallet base and feet projecting from the underside thereof, between which insertion paths are formed for the arms of load-lifting devices, such as forklifts or the like.

Such pallets are known in the art.

Based on this state of the art, the invention is based on the object of creating a very lightweight, easy-to-manufacture pallet that has a high level of stability while being highly stackable, particularly in the area of the pallet corners and the attached feet.

To solve this problem, it is proposed that the floor consists of a rectangular frame and a base plate connected to it and that the feet are formed from hollow profiles whose central axis is aligned transversely to the base plate surface and which are connected to the side flanks of the frame facing each other.

Because the pallet consists of a frame with feet and the pallet base can consist of a relatively thin base plate, a relatively lightweight pallet can be produced overall that nevertheless has a high level of stability.

It is particularly advantageous that the feet are welded to the frame, in particular that the feet have a rectangular cross-sectional shape.

The weld seams are arranged on the freely accessible edges of the base and frame. It should also be noted that the base plate can be made of wood or sheet metal, whereby the latter can be screwed or welded to the frame. The relatively thin base plate, which is firmly connected to the frame, also increases the stability of the pallet.

It is particularly preferred that the frame is composed of hollow profiles, in particular with a rectangular cross-section.

This measure also serves to save weight without loss of stability.

It is advantageously provided that the hollow profiles forming the frame are welded together in the corner areas.

For the purpose of further reinforcement, it can be provided that cross members are inserted, in particular welded, between the longitudinal and/or transverse beams of the frame as stiffeners.

It is preferred if the traverses are made of hollow profiles that are identical to the frame.

It is particularly preferred that the feet are arranged in the corner area, with their two side walls, which rest against the frame struts, being connected to the associated frame strut by several welds.

Furthermore, it is preferred that the feet are arranged with one end flush with the upper frame level and that the connecting welds are arranged at this point as well as at the lower exit point of the feet from the frame.

These welds, which are arranged at a distance from each other on each support foot, ensure that the support foot is held in place with a high degree of stability, whereby the risk of buckling, in particular the risk of buckling of these support feet, is thus greatly reduced, which is also advantageously influenced by the hollow profile-like design of the support feet.

In some circumstances, the foot end plate may be dispensed with, as its main purpose is to enable stacking in pallet racking systems.

The construction according to the invention produces a very lightweight but very stable flat pallet that can be assembled from a few simple individual parts, can be fitted with a wooden or sheet metal base depending on the application, and can be used both for normal storage and for arrangement in shelving. The base parts of the pallets have a high degree of buckling resistance, whereby the torsional rigidity of the frame is also supported and improved by the arrangement and welding of the feet.

The invention is not limited to the embodiments, but is variable in many ways within the scope of the disclosure.
