Bei einem bekannten Fußballschuh dieser Art (FR-PS 15 73 835) ist dieser Aufsatz an seiner einen Längsseite mit dem Schaft vernäht, so daß er über die Schnüröffnung gelegt werden kann. Vorteilhafterweise besteht der erfindungsgemasse Aufsatz aus einer formsteifen Kunststoffschale, die dem Fuß- bzw. Schuhrücken in der Spannpartie in ihrer Form angepasst ist, so daß sie darauf fest aufliegt, wenn der Aufsatz an seinem vorderen und hinteren Ende befestigt ist. Zweckmässigerweise ist diese Kunststoffschale jedoch auf ihrer Oberseite und an ihren Seiten mit einer Aufpolsterung aus einem elastischen Kunststoff versehen, durch den die erwünschte BaI1kontaktf1äche sowohl auf der Oberseite als auch im Außen- und Innenrist geschaffen ist. Der Kunststoff kann geschäumtes Polyurethan sein, das eine Shore-Härte von etwa 75 bis 85 hat. Dadurch, daß der erfindungsgemasse Aufsatz im Benutzungszustand des Schuhes die Schnürung völlig überdeckt, besteht weitgehende Freizügigkeit in der Gestaltung der Ballkontaktfläche. Es kann deshalb daran gedacht werden, die Aufpolsterung so zu gestalten, daß ihre Dicke von vorne nach hinten zunimmt, d.h. daß die obere Ballkontaktfläche im Vergleich zu einem herkömmlichen Fußrücken steiler nach vorne abfällt.
