The base plate 1 has a recess 2 into which a U-shaped profile 3 is inserted. It is

two retaining eyes 4 and 5 formed on this U-profile are attached to the base plate 1. The U-profile holds a square tube 6 into which the signage 7 is inserted.

Inside the tripod and the base plate there is a spring which together with the tripod forms a folding mechanism (section A-A).

If a vehicle collides with sign 7 from "B" to "C", the tripod and sign 7 fold to "C".

Figure 2 shows a cross section of the invention along the line AA indicated in Figure ^1. A spring 13 which is approximately semicircular and bent inwards at the outlet is fastened by means of screws 14 to the U-profile 3 located in the recess of the base plate 1. The square tube 6 is either mounted on an axle bolt 15 as shown in this embodiment or the side walls of the square tube 6 are so close to those of the U-profile 3 that the square tube 6 slides pressed within the U-profile 3.
