Description
Es ist üblich, Straßenbahnfahrzeuge od. dgl. mit optischen Fahrtrichtungsanzeigern auszustatten, die aus beiderseits am Wagenkopf angebrachten, meist farbigen Glühlampen bestehen. Um die Wirkung derartiger Signalanlagen zu verbessern, ist ferner vorgeschlagen worden, Blinklicht anzuwenden. Blinkzeichen werden zwar leichter wahrgenommen,-machten aber bisher Niederspannungsanlagen notwendig, d. h. man mußte das Fahrzeug mit einer besonderen Lichtmaschine und Sammler für die Fahrtrichtungsanzeige ausrüsten.
