Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Pistolen, Gewehre oder eine ähnliche beim Abschuß frei gehaltene Schußvorrichtung, im folgenden lediglich Pistolen genannt, zum Abfeuern von Raketen zu dem Zwecke, Leinen für Rettungs- und andere Zwecke nach oder von Schiffen und anderen Örtlichkeiten zu schießen. Diese Pistolen können die grundsätzliche Ausbildung haben, bei welcher der Lauf eine solche Länge besitzt, daß er nicht nur die Treihladung, beispielsweise eine Platzpatrone, aufnimmt, sondern auch vor derselben die Rakete trügt, deren rückwärtiges Ende in den Lauf eingeschoben ist.
