Verfahren zur Herstellung von als Christbaumschmuck verwendbarem künstlichen Schnee Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von als Christbaumschmuck o. dgl. verwendbarem künstlichen Schnee. Sie besteht darin, daß Glasstaub mit Paraffinöl und einem Klebstoff, z. B. Dextrin, gemischt wird. Das Mischen kann in einer Trommel oder auch von Hand erfolgen und geschieht so lange, bis eine weiche, flockige Masse entsteht. Diese Masse ist dem natürlichen Schnee sehr ähnlich und ist unbegrenzt haltbar. Außerdem haftet sie leicht an anderen Gegenständen und türmt sich wie natürlicher Schnee Flocke um Flocke auf. Infolgedessen wirkt sie wie frisch gefallener Schnee. Das Aufstreuen des künstlichen Schnees auf den Christbaum geschieht vorzugsweise mittels eines Drahtsiebes, so daß der künstliche Schnee fein verteilt auf die Aste des Baumes fällt. Es empfiehlt sich, den Baum vor dem Aufstreuen des künstlichen. Schnees etwas anzufeuchten.
