Der in beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellte rotirende Kehrbesen besteht im wesentlichen aus der bei M, Fig. 2, hohl ausgebohrten zweitheiligen Fegewalze H, dem Stiel D, dem Gabelstück B, der Laufrolle A und dem Bügel E. Die Laufrolle dreht sich frei im Gabelstück um ihre Achse F und ist an beiden Enden mit einem Zahnkranz versehen. Mit diesen beiden Zahnkränzen greift sie in die Zähne der beiden Zahnscheiben G ein, von denen je ein Stück an den sich gegenüberstehenden Enden der beiden Walzenhälften mittelst der Holzschrauben α befestigt ist. In der Mitte der beiden Zahnscheiben befindet sich eine Oeffnung, durch welche der Verbindungsstab J, Fig. ι und 3, hindurchgeht, welcher mit seinen zugespitzten Enden in das Holz der Fegewalze eingetrieben wird. Auf diese Art sind die beiden Walzenhälften mit einander verbunden. Die ringsum mit Borsten K besetzte Fegewalze ist frei beweglich in der Schleife e des Bügels E gelagert, welch letzterer zwischen den beiden Zahnscheiben G sich befindet.
