Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet eine Vorrichtung, welche allgemein bezweckt: die Sicherung einer beliebig grofsen Kettenschleife, d. h. die Beharrung des betreffenden Kettentheiles in diesem Zustande, und im Besonderen: die Bildung bezw. Sicherung einer Schleife an den bekannten Kettchenaufhängseln für Röcke.The subject of the present invention is a device which has the general purpose: securing a chain loop of any size, d. Auf beiliegender Zeichnung ist die Vorrichtung in ihrer Verwendung an einem Kettchenauf hängsei unter gleichzeitiger Veranschaulichung des Bruchtheiles eines Garderobenhakens dargestellt, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 eine Ansicht der Klemme bei gesichertem Kettchen und Fig. 2 eine Ansicht der am Kettchen ausgelösten Klemme. Die Klemme besteht im wesentlichen aus drei Theilen, den teleskopartig über einander geschobenen Hülsen a, b und c, von denen die beiden erstbezeichneten mit Wülsten w tv"¹ zwecks bequemer Handhabung versehen sind. Die letztbezeichnete äufserste Hülse c mit winkligem Schlitze s dient ,als Schlofs für die Hülsen α und b in ihren Endstellungen (Fig. 1 bezw. Fig. 2). Die innere Hülse a hat einen festen Stift t, welcher sich in einem zweiten, mit dem Schlitze s parallelen Schlitze s² in der Hülse b bei der Verschiebung beider Hülsen führt. Vor der Verschiebung bedarf es nur einer Drehung der Schlofshülse c in der Pfeilrichtung Fig. ι, wonach beide Schlitze s s'² sich decken und die Bahn für den Stift t frei ist. Zum besseren Verständnifs sei bemerkt, dafs die Fig. 1 und 2 in den Fig. 3 und 4 um- 90° von rechts nach links gedreht gedacht sind, bevor sie geschnitten sind. Wie namentlich aus den beiden zuletzt bezeichneten Figuren hervorgeht, bilden die oberen Enden der Hülsen α und b ein halbkugelförmiges Maul m, welches in der Mitte eine Oeffnung ο für das Kettchen k frei läfst. Durch Verschiebung der Hülsen α und b kann diese Oeffnung so erweitert werden, dafs die mittlere Parthie des Kettchens durch die ganze Hülsenverbindüng gesteckt werden kann (s. Fig. 4).
Die Wirkungsweise ist folgende:
Die hindurchgesteckte Kettenschleife wird so weit vorgezogen, dafs sie über den Kopf eines Garderobenhakens h gelegt werden kann. Hierauf schiebt man die Klemme am Kettchen in die Höhe bis zum Haken, wobei sämmtliche Kettenglieder das geöffnete Maul der Klemme unbehindert passiren können. Eine Sicherung der Kettenschleife am Haken erfolgt nun, indem man die Hülse α in die Hülse b hineinschiebt, wobei man letztere mit einer Hand am Wulste wfesthält. Bei dieser Verschiebung gleitet der Stift t im Schlitze s bezw. s² in die Höhe, bis er anstöfst, worauf eine Drehung des Schlofsringes c um wenige Grade genügt, um die Hülse α zur Hülse b festzustellen (s. Fig. 1). Gleichzeitig aber haben . die Kanten beider Maulhälften gleiche Höhe erreicht, wodurch die Maulweite auf die doppelte Dicke eines Kettengliedes verengt und die Kettenschleife festgehalten ist (s. Fig. 3).
