Die Thürsperrvorrichtung besteht im wesentlichen aus einer Platte a, welche neben der Thür im Fufsboden b eingelassen ist, einer Klappe c, die in einem Ausschnitt der Platte drehbar gelagert ist, und aus einem unter der Platte schwingend gelagerten Hebel d. Durch das an der schrägen Kopffläche des Stiftes e² entlanggeschobene Ende des in Pfeilrichtung (Fig. ι und 5) bewegten Hebels d wird der Stift e² zurück- und damit der Haken e von der Nase c¹ abgeschoben. Die Klappe c wird alsdann durch eine um ihren Drehstift c² gewundene Schraubenfeder oder ein Paar solcher Federn g aus dem Ausschnitt der Platte α heraus hochgeschnellt und stellt sich senkrecht zur Platte ein. Das den Drehstift c² enthaltende Ende der Klappe c befindet sich in einem an der Platte befestigten Kasten h, und dadurch, dafs die Unterfläche des Klappenendes gegen eine Fläche des Kastens h anstöfst, wird die Klappe gegen eine Drehung über eine gewisse aufrechte Stellung hinaus bewahrt (Fig. 4).The flap c is held down within the cutout by means of a resilient hook e which is attached to an arm e ^{1 of} the plate α and behind a nose c ^{1 of} the flap holds' (Fig. 5).
