Lose Blätterkönnen .beliebig aufeinander gelegt werden, so daß das Durchschreiben der Summe keine besonderen Schwierigkeiten verursacht. Bei Geschäftsbüchern mit eingebundenen Buchungsblättern ist es bekannt, sie blattweise durchzunumerieren und sie entweder mit Ausschnitten an den Summenstellen zu versehen oder die Blätter abwechselnd oben und unten streifenweise zu verkürzen, so daß dabei die Summen auf dem folgenden Blatt vermerkt werden. Die Übertragungsarbeit fällt dann zwar gleichfalls fort, jedoch befinden sich die Summen stets nur auf dem folgenden Blatt, während bei Verwendung von Karbonfeldern jedes Blatt die Summe trägt, nämlich das eine im Original, das andere in Durchschrift.
