Der durch beiliegende Zeichnung dargestellte Schienenreiniger besteht in seinen Haupttheilen aus der mit Bodenplatte q des Strafsenbahnwagens fest verbundenen Führungsbüchse k zur Aufnahme und Führung der in ihrem unteren Theil den Reinigungsschuh α tragenden Führungsstange g, sowie der den Reinigungsschuh niederdrückenden Spiralfeder f. Führungsbüchse k ist behufs erhöhter Haltbarkeit von besonderer Länge; sie wird mittels des Flantsches m unter der Bodenplatte q befestigt. Der über die Bodenplatte hinausragende cylindrische Theil von k wird gegen ■ Beschädigungen, Verunreinigungen u. s. w. durch die Schutzkappe ρ geschützt. Die Führungsbüchse k ist zum Durchlassen der Führungsstange g der Länge nach durchbohrt, und während im oberen Theil von k eine Ausfräsung η die der Führungsstange aufgenietete Feder s umschliefst, ist in der unteren Hälfte eine Auf bohrung i vorgesehen, welche ein Reservoir zur Aufnahme der Schmiermittel bildet.
