Auf ihrer Schraube trägt die Spindel . die Mutter f, welche der Dochts'cheide α, sowie einem Riegelstift g als Träger dient. Der letztere ragt durch ein Loch der Oelbehälterdecke und wird in ein Loch des Gestellschraubenringes h hineingeschoben, wenn der Docht mittelst des Handrädchens e in der Brennerhülse hochgeschraubt wird, Fig. 1. An dem Schraubenring h sitzen die Gestellstäbe h\ welche zwischen sich und dem Gestellring h'² den Glascylinder B über dem Brennerraum festhalten. So lange demnach der Ring h mit dem Oelbehälter durch den Stift g verriegelt ist, ist der Brennerraum nach aufsen hin abgeschlossen ; der Gestellring h kann erst wieder vom Oelbehälter gelöst und damit das Gestell und der Glascylinder vom Brennerraum abgehoben werden, nachdem die Dochtscheide und der Riegelstift in den Oelbehälter hinabgeschraubt und damit die Flamme des Dochtes innerhalb der Brennerhülse c zum Ersticken gebracht ist.The wick sheath α can be moved up and down with the wick by means of a screw spindle b; the upper wick edge protruding from the outer burner sleeve c , FIG. 1, can accordingly be sunk into the burner sleeve and thus the wick flame can be extinguished.
