Außerdem bewirkt die den Polystyrolbändern und -fäden innewohnende Federkraft, daß die Fadenbewicklung nicht fest auf dem Kupferleiter sitzt, sondern bestrebt ist, sich aufzudrehen und abzuspringen. Hierdurch werden die Kapazitätsverhältnisse der Leitungen in ungünstiger Weise beeinflußt. Um das zu vermeiden, werden erfindungsgemäß die biegsamen Bänder und Kordeln aus Polystyrol vor dem Aufwickeln auf etwa 7o bis 8o° C erwärmt.
