Claims

1. A kit of parts for a shelf support, the kit comprising a bracket (10) for attachment to a slat (15), the bracket having a first hole (18) opening towards the front (14) for contact with the slat (15) and a rod (20) arranged in the first hole (18), characterized in that the bracket (10) has a second hole (23) crossing the first hole (18), the rod (20) is long enough to pass through the first hole (18) and the intersection with the second hole (23) and at the same time protrude from the opening (19) for attachment to the slat (15), a hole (24) passing across the rod (20) and to be positioned at the level of the intersection and a conical fitting screw (25) fitting into the second hole (23) and in the hole (24) is arranged in the rod (20).

2. A kit according to claim 1, in which the shank of the fitting screw (25) has a threaded portion (25A) over a small part of its length at its thicker end and has no thread over the major part of its length (25B).

4. A kit according to any one of claims 1, 2 or 3, in which the second bore (23) extends transversely to the first bore (18).

5. A kit according to any preceding claim, wherein the opening of the second bore is located in the top (11) of the inserted bracket.

6. A kit according to any preceding claim, in which the second bore (23) is a blind bore.

7. A kit according to any preceding claim, in which the second bore (23) has a larger diameter at its open end than at its blind end.

8. A kit according to any preceding claim, in which the tapered fitting screw (25) has a slotted head for receiving a screwdriver.

9. A hanging shelf with at least two vertical bars (15) arranged at a distance from one another, a bracket (10) attached to each bar (15), whereby a shelf can rest horizontally on the brackets (10), each bracket (10) has a first bore (18) with an opening to the front (14) which is in contact with the respective bar (15) and has a rod (20) which is attached to the bar (15) at one end, characterized in that each bracket (10) has a second bore (23) which crosses the first bore (18), the rod (20) is long enough to pass through the first bore (18) and beyond the intersection with the second bore (23) and a hole (24) through the rod (20) for receiving a conical fitting screw (25) which fits into the second bore (23).
