1. A method of decorating a human breast with a protruding nipple using a ring-like element of resilient material comprising a ring portion (10, 20) of normal diameter slightly smaller than the nipple and having mutually movable opposite end portions (13, 15) arranged to protrude outwardly from the ring portion, the method comprising the steps of moving the end portions to increase the diameter of the ring portion, applying the enlarged ring portion to the nipple and releasing the end portions resulting in the ring portion encircling the nipple along its circumference.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising the step of decorating the ring.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein decorating comprises attaching decorative ornaments to the element.

4. The method of claim 2 or 3, wherein decorating comprises attaching a cover to the member and positioning the cover in front of the nipple.

5. The method of claim 2, wherein decorating comprises making the ring portion with an outer surface of a precious metal.

Article comprising a body made of resilient material which comprises a substantially circular ring region (10, 20) having a predetermined diameter, said body also comprising mutually movable opposite end portions (13, 15) projecting outwardly from the ring portion, said ring portion being enlarged in response to movement of said end portions for easy mounting of said ring portion on a substantially circular member, and said ring portion being adapted to firmly grip the outer surface of said member in response to release of said end portions, characterized in that the normal diameter is slightly smaller than that of a protruding nipple of a human breast, and in that decorative jewelry (14, 25, 30, 35) is attached to said body for adorning the breast.

7. Article according to claim 6, wherein each of the end regions (13, 15) has a circular section which is substantially smaller than the ring region (10, 20) and wherein these end regions overlap one another.

8. Article according to claim 6, wherein at least one of said end regions (13, 15) has a circular portion (13), and wherein the decorative ornament (14) is attached to said circular portion.

9. An article according to any one of claims 6-8, wherein said decorative adornment comprises a decorative cover (25, 25) and a device (22, 37) attached to said body and supporting said cover in front of the nipple.
