Abstract

The device comprises two opposite longitudinal guides (20) fixed under the longitudinal members (21) of the chassis (2) of a lorry, behind the rear axle of the latter; a carriage (1) which moves along the abovementioned guides (20); a platform (3) mounted such that it rotates on the carriage about a vertical axis; an upper base (4) articulated onto the platform in such a way that it can oscillate in a vertical plane; and a ladder body (5) having telescopic elements (51), which is supported in a mobile manner on the said oscillating base (4). The carriage (1) is capable of assuming a first position in which the upper platform (3) is situated behind the loading platform (22) of the lorry, and a second position in which the said carriage is located within the plan profile of the abovementioned platform. <IMAGE>
