Als Dispersions- oder Emulgiermittel kommen außer Glykol z. B. in Betracht: Benzylalkohol, Glykolmonoäthyläther, Diäthylenglykol, Polyäthylenglykol, Polyglycerin, Diäthylenglykol- und Polyäthylenglykoläther; ferner Phthalsäureester, Adipinsäureester, Naphthensäureester. Andererseits hat man vorgeschlagen, bei der Herstellung von Anstrichmitteln die Pigmente zunächst mit einem Teil des Bindemit= tels innig zu vermischen und dann die..... haltene Masse mit dem übrigen Teil ä' Bindemittels zu vereinigen. Bei der Hers lung von Anstrichmassen liegen aber Verhältnisse grundsätzlich anders als beAir, Herstellung von Kunstmassen aus Gußharzen: Denn bei diesen muß zum Zwecke der Härtung der Harze ein längeres Erhitzen: der mit dem Glanzpigment versetzten, zunächst flüssigen Stoffe stattfinden, und es bestand die Gefahr, daß sich während dieser Zeit die spezifisch schweren Glanzpigmente bereits wieder absetzen würden, bevor die Kunstharze erhärteten. Man erhält so nach der Härtung .des Harzes einen Körper mit einem shr schönen perlmutterartigen Effekt, der in einer Gleichmäßigkeit nach anderen Ver-KUhren unter Zuhilfenahme von trockenem "oder pastenförmigem Bleiphosphat allein nicht .erhalten werden kann.
