Erreicht wird dies durch die die beiden Einzelklemmen verbindende starre Brücke dann, wenn beide Klemmen mit an sich bekannten, sprengringartigen Federn ausgerüstet sind und wenn die Brücke ein waagebalkenartiges Spiel besitzt, weil dann dasjenige Balkenende, das der locker gewordenen Klemme zugeordnet ist, nachdrucken und die Brücke sich schräg legen kann, mit der Folge, daß an der locker gewordenen Klemme die Anpressung des Leiterendes gegen dessen Sitz zu einem Teil von der Sprengringfeder der benachbarten Klemme, die sich noch nicht oder noch nicht so weitgehend gelockert hat, übernommen wird.
