Mit einem solchen Transformator ist es möglich, die Sekundärspannung kontinuierlich zu regeln. Dies hat zur Folge, daß fast die gesamte Primärspannung an der Wicklung 4I liegt und daß dementsprechend vorn den beiden gegeneinandergeschalteten Sekundärwicklungen die Wicklung 5 ihre Maximalspannung entwickelt, während in der Wicklung 6 fast keine Spannung induziert wird. Der Transformator liefert daher seine maximale Sekundärspannung.
