Meine Eisbereitung habe ich dadurch verbessert, dafs ich, wie α in Fig. 1 zeigt, die Bretterwandungen, auf denen das fein zertheilte Wasser abfliefst und in Eis verwandelt wird, etwas schief stellen liefs; es entsteht dadurch zwischen dem mit einem schlechten Wärmeleiter ausgefüllten Raum b c und dieser schrägen Bretterwand ein hohler Raum und zwar von unten bis oben, welcher während der Eisbereitung der kalten Luft den Durchzug gestattet, also die Rückseite dieser Eisbereitungswände abkühlt.
