Durch die Erfindung wird weiter der Vorteil erreicht, daß man mit geringerer- Menge Berieselungswasser auskommt. Da das Wasser an den steilen Seitenwänden der Kühlhaube sehr rasch herunterfließt, so findet es nicht genügend Zeit, um eine erhebliche Wärmemenge- aufzunehmen. Dadurch, daß man das Berieselungswasser noch durch Kanäle der Bodenplatte schickt und dieser zusätzlich Wärme entzieht, wird das Kühlwasser besser ausgenutzt und eine raschere Abkühlung sowie ein geringerer Arbeitsaufwand für die den Kühlwasserumlauf erzeugende Pumpe erzielt. Das Wasser kann in größererAnzahl paralleler Kanäle oder Kanalgruppen durch die Bodenplatte hindurchgeleitet werden. Die Kanäle münden zweckmäßig in einer solchen Höhe in die Sammelrinne ein, daß sich in dieser ein genügend hoher Flüssigkeitsstand ergibt, um, wie es an sich bei derartigen Sammelrinnen bekannt ist, durch Eintauchen eines Dichtungsmessers einen luftdichten Abschluß für die Abkühlhaube zu schaffen.
