Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Betriebe von Backenbrechern, die geeignet ist, den bei diesen Arbeitsmaschinen auftretenden besonders hohen Beanspruchungen gerecht zu werden und die Maschine gegen gefährliche Betriebsstörungen zu schützen. Zur Erläuterung der Erfindung sei an Hand der Fig. 1 zunächst der prinzipielle Aufbau eines Backenbrechers angegeben. Die Brechschwinge 1 ist an ihrem oberen Ende um die Achse 2 schwingbar gelagert. Die Schubstange 3, die durch die Exzenterwelle 4 in auf- und ab\värts gehende Bewegungen versetzt wird, ist durch Platten 5 und 6 einerseits gegen den Rahmen 7 und andererseits gegen die Brechschwinge 1 abgestützt. Bei jeder Auf- und Ab\värtsbewegung wird die Brechschwinge gegen die linke Wandung 8 des Maschinenrahmens gedrückt und durch die Federzugstange 9 wieder zurückgezogen. Es folgt daraus, daß die Arbeitsmaschine nicht in der bei anderen elektromotorischen Antrieben üblichen Weise gegen Überlastungen dadurch geschützt werden kann, daß der Motor mit Überstromschutzeinrichtungen ausgerüstet wird, die ansprechen, sobald die Motorleistung einen bestimmten Mindestwert überschreitet.
