Description
Verfahren zur Verhinderung des Anlaufens von Gegenständen aus Nickel, Kupfer und Legierungen dieser Metalle Im Hauptpatent ist gezeigt worden, daß aus Silber oder einer Silberlegierung bestehende Gegenstände dadurch gegen Anlaufen der Oberfläche geschützt werden können, daß die zu behandelnden Gegenstände in eine verdünnte Lösung getaucht werden, die Chromsäure, Kupferammoniumchlorid oder Persulfate einzeln oder im Gemisch enthält. Durch diese Behandlung wird eine unsichtbare und die Farbe und den Glanz der Metalloberfläche nicht verändernde Schutzschicht hervorgerufen, die gegen den Angriff solcher Stoffe schützt, die sonst das Anläufen verursachen, insbesondere also gegen den Angriff von Schwefelverbindungen.-Gemäß vorliegender Erfindung wird diese Art des Anlaufschutzes auf andere Metalle als Silber, nämlich auf Nickel und Kupfer und Legierungen dieser Metalle, erstreckt, jedoch kommt hierbei die Tauchbehandlung mit ktipferainmoititimchlor i dhaltig en Lösungen nicht in Betracht.Methods of preventing tarnishing of nickel objects, Copper and alloys of these metals.
