Abstract
The current converter has a magnetisable annular core (1,6) enclosing a primary conductor (2) and wound with a secondary winding (7). The part of the annular core enclosing the primary conductor is located within the gas-filled enclosure (10) of the switchgear apparatus and the part of the annular core wound with the secondary winding is located outside the gas-filled enclosure.
