Abstract

The light has an elongated light housing (10) contg. at least one longitudinal fluorescent lamp (11) and a light grid (12) beneath it with at least one fitting (23) for the light covering. The flat housing is at least 300 mm. wide and 60 mm high. The lateral surfaces of the housing have steps (19) of greater than 15 mm. depth and 10-20 mm. height for fitting the cover. The base wall of the housing rises on both sides of the light outlet opening to the lateral edges, which are formed by vertical wall sections of about 10 mm. in height. Holder elements mounted above the steps hold the housing in a mounting aperture.
