Abstract
The load-carrying cable structure is composed of a number of parallel strands with plastics mantles, all enclosed within a common plastics mantle in a ribbon shape. The strands are mono-strands (1) which, on at least one plane, lie loosely next to each other within the common mantle (2). Each strand has a core surrounded by pref. six strands with a lubricant grease in the spaces between the, or the spaces between the strands can be filled with cement or talcum.
