Abstract

The dosing pump #1 has suction and pressure pipes which are both controlled by valves. A degassing valve #2 has a cylindrical valve body (16) which can only be moved between closed and opened position during suction and pressure strokes. The valve body is positioned in a housing (12) between two valve seats (19,20) via a guide (15). This guide surrounds the valve body with little room for play, forming a throttle path for the liquid dosing medium. Conical sealing surfaces, working with the valve seats, are positioned at the facing sides of the valve body. The seats are constructed from elastic O-rings and the valve sits below an adjustable load, such as a spring.
