KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
Auf' beiliegender Zeichnung ist eine Fräsmaschine dargestellt, welche dem zu fräsenden Gegenstande selbstthätig jede gewünschte Form giebt. Es sind zwei Fräsköpfe α angeordnet. Dieselben sind in verschiebbaren Lagern angebracht und werden durch die Federn f gegen einander geschoben, so weit es die an der Welle b des Fräskopfes angebrachten Scheiben c gestatten. Die Federn f können so angeordnet werden, dafs sie weiter vor- oder zurückgestellt werden können. Die Lager / für die Wellen b werden zwischen den Führungsleisten g geführt. An der Maschine ist der verschiebbare Rahmen r angebracht, welcher bei e geführt ist und durch den Hebel h hin- und hergezogen werden kann. Dieser Rahmen ist zwischen den Wellen b der Fräsköpfe so angebracht, dafs, wenn Schablonen m auf demselben befestigt werden, diese zwischen die Scheiben c treffen und dadurch die Wellen der Fräsköpfe entgegen der Wirkung der Federn/ aus einander schieben. Die Fräsköpfe werden also genau in dem Mafse aus einander geschoben, als das Modellstück an der betreffenden Stelle breit ist. Da nun das Arbeitsstück ebenfalls an dem Rahmen genau über den Schablonen befestigt ist, so erhält dasselbe durch die Fräser, zwischen welchen es sich befindet, genau dieselbe Form, welche die Modelle haben. Diese werden entweder auf den Rahmen aufgeschraubt oder in anderer Weise befestigt. Das Arbeitsstück kann auf dem Rahmen r festgeklemmt werden (Fig. 1 bis 6). Es sind auf demselben die' Säulen s angebracht, welche durch den Steg q verbunden sind. Dieser ist mit einem Gewindeloch versehen, in welchem sich die Spindel k, die die verschiebbare, in den Säulen s geführte Schiene i trägt, befindet. Durch diese wird das Arbeitsstück beim Niederschrauben gehalten. Beim -Fräsen mit concaven Fräsern (Fig. 15 und 16) wird,., damit dieselben das Arbeitsstück unten und oben bearbeiten können, dasselbe durch die in horizontaler Richtung beweglichen, an den Enden des Arbeitsstückes angesetzten Schrauben η gehalten, zwischen welche es geklemmt wird (Fig. 13 bis 15).
