Abstract

The clamping device consists of a fork-like head piece (1) on which the clamping arm (4), which can be actuated by the piston rod (2) of an actuating cylinder (3), is pivotably mounted on a pivot (5) and on which end-position sensors (6) are also arranged. According to the invention, the clamping device is designed in such a way that the clamping arm (4) is firmly connected to the pivot (5), and end-position transmitters (8) are arranged on the ends (7) of the pivot (5) which are released with regard to the head piece (1), and the two end-position sensors (6) are arranged in the adjusting area of the end-position transmitters (8).
