Abstract

The reinforced vegetation layer is applied hydropneumatically to the surface of a slope which is held in place for example using a static net which is fastened with anchors. As components of the mixture, the vegetation layer comprises in particular an organic substance based on compost, plastics microfibres having various lengths, organic plant fibres, dried marine plants, expanded clay spheres as structure-imparting components and nutrients of organic origin. The vegetation layer is distinguished by high cohesion, very good dimensional stability, high resistance to various types of erosion, high ion-exchange capacity and a balanced nutrient content with long-term action. <IMAGE>
