Description
From internal combustion engine with cylinders arranged in a star shape and Work machine existing machine set It is known to work machines by To drive internal combustion engines with cylinders arranged in series or in a star shape. Furthermore, one machine is already used as a carrier for such machine sets used for the other machine. The internal combustion engines occur as a result the work transferred to the crankshaft at time intervals, torsional vibrations the crankshaft. In the case of in-line engines, there are also the stresses resulting from the transfer of the cylinder work to the various cranks Crankshaft. An overlapping of such vibrations and stresses on the working machine must now be prevented. For this purpose, the known drives couplings between the crankshaft and the working machine shaft intended. However, this arrangement has the disadvantage that you separate the shafts must and only housed attenuators of limited dimensions on the coupling can be.
The present invention has set itself the task of avoiding the arrangement of a coupling between the shafts of the two machine units when using radial engines to drive work machines and to prevent the transmission of vibrations from the crankshaft to the driven machine. -This happens according to the invention in that the motor housing is mounted on the machine with the involvement of elastic damping members concentric to the crankshaft axis about a central position. This arrangement makes it possible to move the shaft from the engine to the. To leave the working machine undivided. Furthermore, a large scope is available for the insertion of damping members, which allows the arrangement of a sufficient number of members with sufficient flexibility. Finally, individual attenuators can be exchanged during operation. In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown in side view and the particular type of storage is shown enlarged in two sections. The radial engine 3 is rotatably mounted on the flange i of a generator 2 with the aid of the rollers 4 shown in FIGS. To limit the rotational movement of the housing of the radial engine, elastic intermediate members 7 distributed over the circumference of the flange 5 or 6 are used, which are fastened to one flange by bolts 8 and engage in corresponding recesses in the other flange. If forces suddenly appear while the engine is running in the direction of arrows 9 or IQ , the housing .der internal combustion engine can, depending on the direction of the force, evade into positions ii or i, shown in dashed lines, and thus the shock load balance.
