Description
Bei den bekanntgewordenen, für Kraftfahrzeugräder dienenden Schnee- oder Gleitschutzketten mit besonderen Unterlagen für die Querketten bestand der Nachteil; daß zum Erneuern verschlissener oder entzweigegangener Querketten die Unterlagen und die gegebenenfalls als deren Träger dienenden, seitlich umlaufenden Längsketten gelöst werden mußten. Dies war umständlich und zeitraubend, zumal die Kette nach dem Aufbringen einen guten Sitz erfordert, wenn sie ihren Zweck ohne Beschädigung des Reifens erfüllen soll. Diese Nachteile werden gemäß der Erfindung vermieden, indem die Querketten unmittelbar lösbar angeordnet sind. Dadurch können die Träger der Querketten in der einmal gegebenen Lage belassen werden.
