Description

Process for the preparation of a water-soluble ointment from hemicellulose The invention relates to a method for producing a water-soluble Ointment, the basis of which is hemicellulose. The hemicellulose is generally treated in such a way that they are carefully stirred into the necessary quantity of water, and the prepared mass boils until a thick jelly is formed.

It has now been found that by adding cyclohexanol containing Soap solutions an extremely high viscosity of the cooked ointment was achieved, the correct dosage of the soap solution containing cyclohexanol and the correct addition of water assumed a viscous, rubber-like character, which is especially valuable when it is a question of only those who have been incorporated Medicinal substances should be absorbed by the skin, but not the body of the ointment. However, if this rubber-like mass continues to be treated with water, so takes it back to its original consistency, d. H. the rubber-like character gets lost. It is therefore more containing by the appropriate addition of cyclonexanol Soap solution given the option of over half of one for ointment production to save used hemicellulose and still ensure high diffusion. The method can e.g. B. exercised in the following way: a) 50 g of a finished Hemicellulose ointment bases are mixed with a heated solution of 3.5 ccm Soap solution containing cyclohexanol is stirred in 100 cc of water, this mixture warmed water is gradually added to [50 cc] and the mixture is stirred until cold.

This jelly has the texture an ointment base that can no longer absorb any liquid to replace its ointment base to prove. If you now take 10 g of cyclohexanol-containing soap solution in 100 g of water and mixes this slightly warmed solution with the finished ointment base Hemicellulose (in this case iooo g) intimately, this creates a heavy mass, which will return to the previous consistency with 100 g of water.

So there is the possibility through this procedure: a) the Economics of the basic substance of a water-soluble ointment, e.g. B. Hemicellulose, to increase by the fact that you can add up to 100 ° 1o of water to it without damage, b) Incorporate significantly larger amounts of medicinal substances into the ointment base, c) in cases where the aim is to achieve the best possible viscosity, in fact without producing additional auxiliary materials, d) a high degree of distribution of the effective ones Reaching substances.
