Description
Die bei Reduzierventilen, Sicherheitsventilen usw. allgemein verwendeten Gummimembranen gestatten infolge der geringen Festigkeit des Gummis nur eine geringe Belastung der Membran. Metallmembranen, wie sie für hohe Belastungen verwendet werden, haben dagegen den Nachteil, daß sie außerordentlich unelastisch sind, sich also auch bei hoher Belastung nur wenig durchbiegen.The rubber diaphragms commonly used in reducing valves, safety valves, etc. allow only a low load on the membrane due to the low strength of the rubber. Die Membran Abb. ι ist entsprechend der Erfindung aus einer hochelastischen Platte (Gummi o. dgl.) α und zwei Rosettenfedern b gebildet. Die Rosettenfedern b werden zweckmäßig so übereinander angeordnet, daß die Lappen c der einen Feder die Ausschnitte d der anderen Feder überdecken. Die Anordnung zweier Rosettenfedern übereinander ist besonders zweckmäßig, da dadurch die Platte α vollständig abgedeckt wird (der noch offene zentrale Teil, welcher durch die Federn nicht erfaßt wird, kann durch ein besonderes Plättchen e zwischen Federn und Platte α abgedeckt werden). Die Platte a nimmt also bei dieser Anordnung nicht den Druck auf, sondern hat lediglich den Zweck abzudichten, während die Rosettenfedern dem Druck auf die Membran den nötigen Widerstand entgegensetzen. Gegenüber einer starren Metallmembran hat eine Rosettenfeder entsprechend der Erfindung den Vorteil, daß die in einer geschlossenen Metallmembran auftretenden Zugspannungen fortfallen. Die Verbindung einer dichten Platte mit Rosetten- 5<> federn ergibt also eine auch für hohe Belastungen widerstandsfähige und elastische Membran.The membrane Fig. Ι is formed according to the invention from a highly elastic plate (rubber or the like) α and two rosette springs b .
