Verfahren zum Plissieren von mit Appreturmitteln vorbehandelten Geweben Die durch Heißpressen plissierten Gewebe verlieren, wenn sie der Luftfeuchtigkeit auch nur in geringem Maße ausgesetzt werden, an Schärfe der Plisseefalten und büßen das Plissee beim direkten Feuchtwerden ganz ein. Erfindungsgemäß wird die Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß als Fixierungsmittel für die Plisseefalten Appreturmassen Verwendung finden, die in wäßriger Dispersion neben dem Dispergierungsmittel wasserunlösliche Stoffe, wie Harze, öle u. dgl., :enthalten, so daß die Plissierfalten der mit solchen Appreturmassen in entsprechender Verdünnung getränkten Stoffe unempfindlich gegen Luftfeuchtigkeit und tropfbares Wasser werden. Als besonders geeignet für diese Zwecke sind vorzugsweise zu nennen: Wollappreturen aller Art, insbesondere solche, die in wäßriger Dispersion neben den Dispersionsmitteln, wie Stärke, Eiweiß, Dextrin, Leim, größere oder geringere Zusätze von Fetten, Wachsen, ölen io. dgl. enthalten. Bei dem Heißplissieren wird das wäßrige Dispersionsmittel bei der Behandlungstemperatur von etwa 1000 getrocknet und der Appreturrückstand derart in den Stoff eingebracht, daß dieser gegen Luftfeuchtigkeit und tropfbares Wasser unempfindlich wird.According to the invention, the object is achieved in that, as fixing agents for the pleats, finishing compounds are used which, in aqueous dispersion, contain water-insoluble substances such as resins, oils and the like in addition to the dispersant, so that the pleats of the finishing compounds are diluted with such finishing compounds soaked fabrics become insensitive to humidity and dripping water.
