Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Strumpfes mit englischem Fuß in einem Arbeitsgang auf der Cottonwirkmaschine Um den Sohlenteil der Strümpfe mit englischem Fuß als ein einheitliches Stück in einem Arbeitsgang mit dem Längen- und dem Fußoberteil auf der Cottonwirkmaschine herstellen zu können, hat man bereits vorgeschlagen, ihn anschließend an die Spitze des Fußoberteiles zu arbeiten, so daß letzterer mit der Sohle durch die kurze Maschenreihe an der Spitze zusammenhängt, an die man sonst die abschließenden Draufreihen anfügt. Bei einer solchen Arbeitsweise wird aber durch die Herstellung der Sohle zu viel Zeit verloren, so daß die Maschine nicht voll ausgenutzt werden kann. Ferner wurde zur Erzeugung eines Strumpfes mit englischem Fuß in einem Arbeitsgang vorgeschlagen, am Ende des Längen die Fersenteile unter seitlichem Ausdecken anzufügen und hiernach in der Mitte der letzten dabei gearbeiteten Maschenreihe das Fußblatt zu arbeiten, jedoch daneben unter Hinzunahme einer entsprechenden Anzahl neuer Maschen die Fersenteile und die Sohle in einem Arbeitsstück herzustellen. Bei Strümpfen dieser Art wurden am Fersenstück nicht die sonst üblichen Fersenläppchen vorgesehen, sondern Ferse und Sohle wurden nur mit ebensoviel Maschenreihen wie das Fußblatt gearbeitet.
