Dieselbe besteht aus einem Band C, welches in der Mitte in einer Entfernung von einander mit zwei Einschnitten α α¹ versehen ist, von denen der eine von der einen, der andere von der anderen Seite bis zur Mittellinie m-n des Bandes reicht. Dadurch, dafs man das Band dann in der Weise biegt, dafs der eine Einschnitt in den anderen hineingreift, wird eine Schleife D, Fig. 4, gebildet. Die Enden des Bandes werden darauf über einander gelegt und an einander befestigt, worauf eine Oeffnung I in dem Band angebracht wird, durch welche das Fadenende B, welches, wie oben erwähnt, durch den Ring des Knauls hindurchreicht, nach aufsen tritt. In die Schleife D des Bandes wird dann eine Röhre E gebracht, mittelst welcher der Knaul dann auf den als Spulenhalter dienenden Stift der Nähmaschine gebracht wird.If such a hook is to be used on the sewing machine, it is encompassed with the cover shown in FIG.
