Die Verbindung des Sammelraumes mit dem Tropfraum nach dem Ablassen fand durch Bedienung der Hähne in umgekehrter Reihenfolge statt. Durch falsche Bedienung der verschiedenen Hähne wurde oft die ganze Anlage belüftet und damit der Trockenbetrieb gestört.
