Description
Method of increasing the cold resistance of fruit tree carbolineum Coal tar oils are usually used to make fruit tree carbolineum. Fruit tree carbolineum produced in this way has the disadvantage that it is in the cold tends to deposit. Here, active ingredients such as naphthalene are used and anthracene, partially excreted. The concentration of the agent becomes one other. Furthermore, the emulsifiability suffers, so that the agent is harmful to the plant will. Another disadvantage is that the nozzles clog when spraying and finally such a carbolineum is very difficult to leave out bring out the barrels.
It has now been proposed to use tar oils for the purpose of combating fungi to mix with carbolineum or phenols in order to increase the fungicidal effect of the tar oils to multiply. However, mixtures of this type also have the stated disadvantages. It has now been shown, surprisingly, that these disadvantages are certain be avoided when using the one used to make fruit tree carbolineum Coal tar oils Lignite tar oils with a specific gravity of about 0.88 to 0.92 added in amounts up to about 250'o. This makes the deposit stronger Ingredients avoided with certainty because lignite tar oils are good solvents for naphthalene and anthracene are. At the same time, however, there is no reduction in the Has an effect because the lignite tar oils are also strongly insecticidal and fungicidal works.
In place of lignite tar oils one can also use similar products use, which are obtained from petroleum or oil shale, although the solvent power such oils for anthracene and naphthalene is not quite as favorable as for lignite tar oils.
It is known that fruit tree carbolineum can also be made from lignite tar oils can produce. But this has nothing to do with the present invention is based primarily on the fact that fruit tree carbolineum obtained from higher-boiling coal tar oils is made cold-resistant by adding the small amount of lignite tar oil. Embodiment 70 parts of coal tar oil are mixed with 15 parts of lignite tar oil specific gravity of about 0.88 to 0.92 and about 15 parts of a suitable one Mixed emulsifier.
