Die gleiche Wirkung tritt ein, wenn man das umlaufende Scheibenmesser um die Längsachse der Trommel g kreisen, die Trommel selbst aber feststehen läßt. Der Erfindungsgedanke, der vorstehender Ausführungsform zugrunde liegt, kann sich auch bei Verwendung mehrerer umlaufender Kreismesser auswirken. Die Kreismesser sitzen dann exzentrisch auf einem Träger und laufen einerseits mit diesem Träger um, drehen sich anderseits um ihre eigene Achse, so daß eine planetarische Bewegung eintritt. Die Kreismesser sitzen in einer Ebene, damit an der Mündung des Tabakzuführungskanals die erforderlichen Gegenschnitte für alle Messer vorhanden sind.Such a device is shown schematically in Fig. Ι and 2 of the drawing.
