Es wurde nun gefunden, daß bei diesem direkten Verfahren der Herstellung des Engelsehen Salzes aus Magnesiumoxyd bzw. Magnesiumhydroxyd in Gegenwart eines Kohlensäureüberschusses Engel'sches Salz in guter Ausbeute auch dann gewonnen werden kann, wenn das Chlorkalium nur in relativ geringer Konzentration, z. B. von z to g im Liter, benutzt wird. Der große Vorteil dieses Arbeitens mit verdünnten Chlorkaliumlösungen besteht darin, daß bei gleich guter Ausbeute an Engel'schem Salz wie beim Arbeiten mit der konzentrierten Chlorkaliumlösung ein so chlorkaliumarmes Filtrat erhalten wird, z.
